I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The hotel had convenient ground floor rooms for pets, which was a big plus for me. The breakfast buffet was amazing, offering a wide variety of options beyond the basic French breakfast. The location, outside of the busy city walls, allowed for a more peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
Nothing, all excellent.

Although in a suburb, the location offered easy access to nearby attractions. the room was clean and comfortable, with a memory foam mattress that provided a great night's sleep. the staff was friendly and accommodating. the breakfast, though disappointing, did not detract from the overall experience. the pool, although cold, was a nice addition to the hotel's facilities.
The restaurant service was a letdown, with untrained staff and a lack of common sense service.

The staff was excellent. The hotel was quite and beautiful verses the alternative of staying in town. The food was delightful.
Would have been nice if the pool was heated.

We found the hotel to be very relaxing and peaceful. The staff were helpful and the food very good.
The only slightly disappointing item was the Breakfast Buffet. Rather limited and unexciting.

A beautiful small casually elegant resort thankfully located outside the walls of Avignon!
The restaurant service is the very worst, hands down, of any resort I have ever stayed at. The food is expensive, but good. It seems as if the restaurant is operated by an unaffiliated entity. The waiter and waitress staff are untrained in basic common sense service, ( except for a younger delightful lady who was fabulous) the somalier was a c- actor ( no need for this as the wine list is very good and easy to understand). The resort suffers from this easily solvable defect!

It is a beautiful oasis in a quite drab area - actually hard to believe how gorgeous the grounds, the pool, and the ensemble of buildings. The welcome was perfect, we were well-cared for and found the decor restful and interesting, the restaurant excellent, welcoming and accommodating. The staff were perfect for us. We arrived with a large dog, and he was welcome too! The pool and pool cafe were a dream. Very close to Avignon, close to A7.
Nothing important.....maybe our room was not appointed as one might hope for a 4*, the bath a bit old-fashioned....we did have a dog, so the bare floor was correct. The balcony was small, almost impossible to close the shutters with the table and chairs, yet we were happy to have the table and chairs! I think the outdoors made up for any small complaints inside the room.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Even though it was low season and the restaurant was closed, they had great recommendations for food delivery. We also loved that they had ground floor rooms specifically for pets, which was the main reason we chose this place. Our furry friend felt right at home.
All in all, this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for comfort and quality services. We highly recommend it to everyone.

Restaurant food was so very disappointing and expensive. Restaurant staff not friendly to English speaking person but lovely to those fluent in French. Best part of hotel the Receptionist he was excellent.

-the staff is very welcoming/accommodating -it was low season so the restaurant was closed but they have good addresses for food delivery - they have very convenient ground floor rooms for pets (the reason why we chose this hotel, found on the british ferries website) cats are also welcome! - a very well sorted breakfast buffet, much more than the basic French breakfast
we arrived in the dark and couldn't easily find a parking space because the outside lights weren't turned on and the hotel is located in a park

Close to main road, easy to get to. The free Wi-Fi was quick. The lobby looked nice and newly renovated and you could tell that the hotel tried to create a modern atmosphere. Breakfast was good with enough options to be satisfied.
The location was not great, it felt a bit sketchy. The room was old and outdated, it didn't seem to have been renovated.

As soon as we had booked in early afternoon we were told the restaurant was fully booked for dinner!! When we protested the receptionist said we would have to go into Avignon for a meal. The reason given was there was only one chef they were short staffed. My husband and I chose this hotel especially as we had stayed in the past and had an excellent stay and meal. We were on our way back from a lovely holiday in St Tropez this was to be a restful night before our long drive to Calais the next day. We asked if there was anywhere in Le Pontent he said there is a snack bar across the road! We found that most unhelpful and quite insulting. There was one very nice waiter who brought us a drink and told us there was a very nice Lebonese restaraurant 5minutes walk from the hotel. He saved the day we went there and had a fantastic meal and really friendly staff. Hotel Agassin should be a lovely restful place to stay, but, there were quite a lot of rubbish around outside and round the pool area. We will not be returning!
